THE COACHING PROCESS

Step 1: The Discovery Call

During the discovery call, we will talk about what coaching is and isn’t (it’s not therapy), whether it’s something that you are ready for and interested in, and what your goals for working with me are.

Step 2: The Contract

After our discovery call, I will write up a contract for our partnership and will include 2 to 3 goals that we discussed during our call. (I may email you before sending the contract if I need clarity on your goals.))

Step 3; The Sessions

You will bring a topic that you would like to work on.  My job is to make sure we simultaneously explore various aspects of the topic while staying focused.  Your job is to enter the conversation with openness and honesty. The point is to gain clarity and initiate movement towards achieving your goals.

Step 4: The Evaluation

At a previously agreed point in time (after a certain number of sessions), we will review the work we have done together and determine whether you are making a sufficient amount of progress towards your goals. This may signal either a need for new goals or the completion of our work together.

Step 5: The Conclusion

The ultimate goal of coaching is your self-efficacy - at a certain point you won’t need a thinking partner anymore. When that time comes, after one session or many, I will wish you well in all your endeavors. The door will remain open, if any new challenges come up.
